Hold on my Son!

“Hold on my Son, I’ve got your back.” – God

“Remember these things, Jacob, for you, Israel, are my servant. I have made you, you are my servant; Israel, I will not forget you.” – Isaiah 44:21 NIV

“The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” – Deuteronomy 31:8

God will go before us. It is His promise to never abandon His people. We may all go through all sorts of circumstances: sickness, death of a loved one, disasters, financial lack, failures, abuse, loss of jobs, mistreatment, betrayal and more, yet God sees all that we are going through. He knew first hand what we will be going through in this life. He made sure that we will be equipped for the battles ahead of us. And He is the only one who can help us all go through the most difficult circumstances in our lives. Remember, Christ died to save us from our sins 2,000 years ago. Christ saved us from the fiery hell, an impossible task indeed. He saved you before, He is capable of saving you now, and He will save your tomorrow!

“All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will never turn away.” – John 6:37

Pray and speak to the Lord of your requests. He hears those who come to Him. Surrender your problems and your life to Him. Let us confess our sins to Jesus Christ and admit that our own strength is never enough to fight the worries of this life. He is our defender, provider and savior. As He said,

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28 NIV

With the Lord God as our Helper, we will still face problems, troubles and hardships of many kinds. Our assurance from the Lord is this, He will never abandon us. He will break us through the walls of adversity as with the coming of spring time. The Lord may be silent throughout our darkest moments, yet trust His loving heart as we go through the tough road ahead. Yes, even when you do not sense His presence. Ever remember that time the disciples waited for Christ to come back from the dead? It must have been terribly hard for them to wait for a dead messiah! Yet, in the end, Jesus Christ rose from the grave and fulfilled His promise!

“And the LORD will continually guide you, And satisfy your desire in scorched places, And give strength to your bones; And you will be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.” – Isaiah 58:11

Spring is coming, wait for the Lord!

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” – Proverbs 3:4-5

Live and breathe your life for God’s glory. He will be with you, strengthen you and renew your hope. Afterall, his name Jesus (Yeshua) literally means God Saves!
